Then we made our way to Paragould, Arkansas which was a whole lot of nothing. We performed at a cute 500 seat theater which was owned by a cute elderly couple. We started the show and across the stage in the stage left wings, Casi and I saw the old man moving our off stage set. The next thing we heard was a huge crash. I was not on stage yet so I went to go see what happened. The man, while trying to move our set piece for no apparent reason, had knocked over a huge ladder down the stairs to the dressing rooms during the show! Monica, our stage manager, ran backstage to make sure no one got hurt. Luckily no one did. You could definitely hear the crash on stage and in the audience though.
After this show we drove to Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Today, a day off, we went to go see the new movie about Oz. It really could have been so much better than it was. It seemed to me that the actors, who are usually very good, were not convincing at all. Since they are all usually great actors it must have been bad direction or just poor writing. It has been a very relaxing day though and I'm excited for another day off tomorrow.
